Deborah Petito

Professional Biography

Deborah Petito’s practice has focused on labor and employment law for over 20 years. She has represented public and private sector employment clients in all types of labor and employment matters including representation in federal and state courts, in arbitration proceedings, before the Los Angeles County Civil Service Commission and the National Labor Relations Board. She has also negotiated with labor unions and other organizations on behalf of employers and advised clients during strikes. Her representation has encompassed general advice and counsel on employment issues, including wage and hour matters as well as the handling of state and federal audits and representation before the California Labor Commissioner. She has provided extensive training to executives, managers and supervisors on various employment law topics, including sexual harassment.

Debbie earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles. She received her law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law and is admitted to the California State Bar, all Federal District Courts in California and the United States Supreme Court.
