Candace Paul is an Associate in our Associate Practice Group. Based in Washington, D.C., she focuses on recruiting associates, from mid to senior levels, who seek opportunities at leading law firms throughout the DC Metro Area.
Candace is passionate about helping people discover their purpose. In addition to legal recruiting, Candace assists authors and writers professionally publish their work.
Before joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Candace was an outreach and engagement strategist for the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), where she recommended attorneys, professors and data scientists who were shaping privacy policy and leading the conversation on federal privacy legislation to the EPIC Advisory Board. She also spearheaded outreach efforts and cultivated new relationships with journalists and donors.
While in law school, Candace held an internship with the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons. There she worked closely with the HR Director and a small team of HR professionals to interview and screen potential candidates for positions within the agency. Prior to that, she was a student attorney with The Community Development Law Clinic, where she represented non-profit organizations and small, urban entrepreneurs.
