Bryan Cantley is an associate at the firm's Raleigh office, where he is a member of the Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice group. Bryan focuses his practice on defending employers in a wide range of employment disputes, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and restrictive covenant actions. Bryan represents clients in state and federal court and before administrative agencies.
Bryan advises clients on all aspects of the employment relationship, including hiring and separations, discrimination, harassment, leave and disability issues, and compliance with various state and federal employment laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and OSHA. Bryan assists clients with drafting employment agreements, employee handbooks, severance agreements, and restrictive covenant agreements. Bryan’s practice also includes advising clients regarding complex labor and employment issues related to mergers and acquisitions.
