Brooke K. Haley defends employers against claims for discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, wrongful termination, misappropriation of trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and business-related disputes before state and federal courts, arbitrators, mediators, and administrative agencies. Brooke also counsels corporate clients on workplace policies and procedures, compliance with applicable state and federal labor and employment laws and regulations, and provides clients with pre-litigation, litigation, and mitigation of risk strategies.
In addition, Brooke leads internal investigations and has represented clients in investigations by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the New York State Commission on Human Rights.
Originally from Portland, Maine and a graduate of Bowdoin College, Brooke joins Ogletree Deakins’ Portland, Maine office as senior counsel. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins and returning to her Maine roots, she enjoyed a distinguished career in boutique and mid-sized litigation firms in New York City, where she advised banks, financial institutions, and corporate clients in matters concerning employment law, banking and real estate transactions, securities, and commercial business litigation.
