Brian Peterson is a partner in the firm’s Seattle office. He focuses his practice on bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He has experience representing borrowers, committees, chapter 7 and 11 trustees, creditors, and asset purchasers in in connection with both transactional and litigation matters in a variety of contexts, including federal bankruptcy proceedings, state court receiverships, foreclosures, and out-of-court workouts. Brian has significant experience representing bankruptcy trustees in Ponzi scheme cases, including fraudulent transfer litigation. He also has experience litigating various commercial disputes in both state and federal courts, and advises clients with respect to the structuring of transactions involving distressed situations.
