Benjamin A. Anchill

Professional Biography

Ben is an associate in Ogletree Deakins’ Detroit (Metro) office.  Before joining the firm, Ben served as a judicial law clerk to five federal judges in the Eastern District of Michigan: U.S. District Judges Bernard A. Friedman, Avern Cohn, Paul D. Borman, Mark A. Goldsmith, and Patrick J. Duggan.  Ben also served as a foreign law clerk to Justice Uzi Vogelman of the Supreme Court of Israel.

As a judicial law clerk in the Eastern District of Michigan, Ben assisted federal judges in resolving motions pending in numerous labor and employment matters, including cases brought under Title VII, Title IX, Michigan’s Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, ERISA, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Labor Management Relations Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Railway Labor Act.
