Andy represents businesses in a wide range of employment litigation and provides day-to-day advice to management on employment issues. Andy has experience with matters in federal and state court, including California class action lawsuits and high-stakes restrictive covenant disputes, including non-compete, non-disclosure, and non-solicitation agreements. He regularly defends litigation and administrative charges alleging discrimination, harassment, and retaliation violations. Andy also has experience assisting companies with internal investigations and those conducted by federal and state regulatory authorities.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Andy spent several years as an associate at a large international law firm in Washington, D.C. where he represented clients in the alcoholic beverage industry in commercial litigation, antitrust, regulatory, and legislative matters. Andy also counseled a professional sports league with potential collective bargaining issues related to player conduct.
