USCIS Extends Relief Measure For Employers Responding to RFEs and NOIDs

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued an alert on May 1, 2020, that the agency will be further extending the duration of the dates covered under its announcement on March 30, 2020.

As we previously reported, USCIS implemented a policy to allow employers who have received a Request for Evidence (RFE), Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID), Notice of Intent to Revoke (NOIR), Notice of Intent to Terminate (NOIT), or appealable decision issued between March 1 and May 1, 2020, an additional 60 calendar days to submit a response beyond the deadline set forth in the notice.  Now the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service,  has extended this measure to apply to the aforementioned agency requests issued through July 1, 2020.
