This evening the U.S. House of Representatives with almost unanimous consent (412-3) passed S. 3245 which provides for a three year extension of the EB-5 Regional Center Pilot Program until September 30, 2015.  President Obama is expected to sign the bill this week.  Bi-Partisan support for the bill was evident as House Judiciary Chairman Lamar Smith (R-TX), along with the Immigration SubCommittee Ranking Member Zoe Lofgren (D-Ca) and Representatives Rick Larsen (D-WA) and Representatives Peter Welch (D-VT) all vocalized the need for an extension of this job creating program.
