On Thursday, January 11, 2018, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) held the inaugural meeting of its recently established Fixed Income Market Structure Advisory Committee. This committee was established by the SEC to provide a means for the SEC to receive advice and recommendations on fixed income market structure issues. The January 11 meeting will focus on bond market liquidity issues, among other administrative items, and will be available via live webcast at www.sec.gov beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET.
