The White House announced today that President Obama’s fiscal year (FY) 2014 budget proposal will be released on April 10, 2013. The President’s Budget is generally released in late January or early February and serves as a blueprint for Congressional budget resolutions and the appropriations process. The White House has said that the two month delay is the result of uncertainty over sequestration prior to March 1st, when the sequester went into effect.
