ITC Votes Negative on Tin Mill Imports from Canada, China, Germany, and South Korea
Wednesday, February 14, 2024
On February 6, 2024, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) found that tin mill products imported from Canada, China, and Germany do not materially injure the US industry.

In a unanimous decision, the ITC issued a negative determination in the antidumping and countervailing duty investigations on tin mill steel products imported from Canada, China, and Germany. As a result of the Commission’s negative vote as to material injury by reason of these imports, no antidumping and countervailing duty orders will be imposed.

The Commission also found that imports of tin mill steel products from South Korea are negligible. The antidumping duty investigation regarding imports from South Korea will therefore be terminated.

The final report providing the rationale for the Commission’s decision will be available by March 13, 2024, on the ITC website.
