Just mind boggling numbers here.

TCPA class actions are up for the second straight year and October, 2024 looks to be the largest filing volume month in history with 115 nationwide TCPA class actions filed that month alone.

For comparison there were only 62 TCPA class actions filed in October, 2022– meaning class actions are up 85% for the month in two years.

Year over year statistics aren’t quite as grim, but TCPA class action filings are still up 21% over last year– and 2023’s numbers were already up 40% over 2022’s number!

All totaled there have been 915 TCPA class actions filed this year through October compared to 760 through this time last year.

With two major new TCPA rulings from the FCC set to take effect next year there is general consensus 2025 will see another large spike in TCPA class litigation.
