The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has two grant programs to assist Wisconsin companies that are interested in exporting products or services.
-
Step One: Export Development Grant - A Wisconsin company can be reimbursed up to $3,000 in a 12-month period for approved export training and development activities.
The grant is designed to help small-medium sized companies take the first step and learn about exporting and develop an export marketing plan.
-
Step Two: International Market Access Grant - The WEDC will reimburse Wisconsin companies up to $10,000 in a 12-month period for approved activities to execute an export marketing plan. Examples of reimbursable expenses include approved international trade mission costs, research market expenses, and expenses related to product and website adaptations for foreign markets.
