Zana is an experienced civil litigator with a background in commercial transactions and a deep knowledge of bankruptcy, financial restructuring, and creditors’ rights.
She spent more than a decade as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, where she managed and monitored chapter 7 and 11 cases. She spent two years detailed to the Executive Office for U.S. Trustees in Washington, D.C. for a special litigation team charged with identifying, investigating, preparing, and litigating cases in multiple federal districts nationwide. She has worked as a litigator and bankruptcy attorney at private firms in Miami and New York.
