Viki Economides Farrior is a trial lawyer with over 10 years of litigation experience. Prior to joining Ogletree, Viki was a trial attorney with the Department of Justice Tax Division and a Special Trial Attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. During her ten years in public service, Viki litigated some of the government’s largest and most consequential civil tax cases in U.S. District, Tax, and Bankruptcy courts. She has experience with jury and bench trials, and has been responsible for all aspects of civil litigation, including case strategy, motions practice, conducting discovery, trial practice, and negotiating settlement.
Viki graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 2009 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science. She graduated summa cum laude from American University Washington College of Law in 2012, where she was a member of the American University Law Review. And Viki obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 2013. Her practice has primarily focused on corporate, partnership, and private equity tax matters, including complex financial transactions.
Viki is a member of the New York and Oklahoma Bars.
