Vanessa DiDomenico is an Associate at Blank Rome's D.C. office. Vanessa concentrates her practice in the area of maritime law.
Vanessa previously served as a summer associate at Blank Rome and is the founder of a boutique maritime consulting firm and youth-centered maritime nonprofit. In addition, Vanessa previously held technical management roles with a cruise line and shipping company, as well as externship and internship roles with the Port of New Orleans and the U.S. Department of State.
During law school at Tulane University, Vanessa was a member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal where she authored “Finding True North: Reducing Maritime Corruption at Sea and Ashore Through Legal and Operational Mechanisms,” 45 Tul. Mar. L.J. 139 (2020). Vanessa also authored “Far-reaching Waves,” published in IAS Gazette, Singapore (February 22, 2019), and was the co-author of “The Impact of COVID-19 on Blockchain Advancement,” published in the December 2020 edition of Blank Rome’s Mainbrace and republished in May–June 2021 edition of The Journal of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence & Law.
