Tyler advises clients on data privacy regulations and helps manage data breach incidents. His work includes pre-incident response training and post-incident support for clients dealing with issues like ransomware and business email compromises. He guides clients on their notification obligations to state and federal regulators in compliance with various data breach statutes and contractual requirements. He also has experience with regulatory investigations from both state and federal agencies and privacy litigation. Additionally, he assists clients facing digital crises, including online defamation and harassment.
Beyond data privacy, Tyler has experience in business litigation across multiple sectors, representing clients in federal and state courts as well as in private arbitration, including cases at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
Tyler is also committed to pro bono work, helping with adoption proceedings in Tennessee and collaborating with the California Innocence Project.
