With more than 25 years of experience, Tom concentrates his practice on the business aspects of health law. He has extensive experience advising on matters related to physician practice acquisitions, hospital-physician joint ventures, clinical co-management arrangements, professional services arrangements and Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance.
Tom regularly advises ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, hospitals and health systems, and post-acute providers and senior living facilities, with a particular emphasis on orthopedic and urology ventures. He has been outside general counsel to a large orthopedic practice and specialty hospital.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Tom chaired the healthcare practice at an Indianapolis-based law firm.
