Tal A. Kadar is an Associate in the Stamford office of Jackson Lewis P.C., and a member of the firm’s Trade Secret, Non-Compete and Workplace Technology Practice Group.
Ms. Kadar represents employers in state and federal trial, appellate, and administrative proceedings throughout the United States involving the full spectrum of issues covered by the firm's employment law practice. She also represents employers in litigation asserting claims for violations of non-competition agreements, theft of trade secrets, unfair trade practices, and unfair competition. She provides advice and counsel to corporate clients on a variety of issues, including claims of discrimination and harassment, leave management, requests for accommodation, enforceability of restrictive covenants, reductions in force, wage and hour issues, and employee’s use of social networking websites. Ms. Kadar assists companies with personnel policy drafting and review, day-to-day management of employee discipline and termination, preparation and enforcement of employment contracts, and prevention of harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Ms. Kadar provides training on a variety of employment law topics including sexual harassment prevention training, hiring and firing practices, social media, and leave management.
