Professional Background
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fontaine served as an associate at an international law firm where he concentrated his practice on bankruptcy and restructuring law, litigation, and debt finance matters. He has represented debtors, secured lenders, and unsecured creditors’ committees in chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, including reorganizations, adversary proceedings, and contested matters. Mr. Fontaine also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Benjamin A. Kahn in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
