Ms. Taylor is an intellectual property lawyer in the K&L Gates Sydney office. Her experience includes assisting in legal proceedings concerning patent and trademark infringement, contract drafting and review, and advising clients on their intellectual property rights.
Ms. Taylor also has experience working in the firm's Corporate M&A, Real Estate, Litigation, and Employment & Workplace Safety groups, where she worked on litigious, transactional and regulatory matters.
Prior to working at K&L Gates, Ms. Taylor worked as a paralegal at the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department for two years in the Tobacco Taskforce within the Office of International Law. In that role, she worked on both the investor-state arbitration and the World Trade Organization challenges regarding plain packaging of tobacco products in Australia. In these disputes, Ms. Taylor assisted in researching and drafting submissions on domestic and international intellectual property law.
