Silvia is a partner in our Restructuring & Insolvency team based in our Bratislava office. Silvia’s practice focuses on banking and insolvency matters and her previous clients have included Slovak and foreign banks and financial institutions. She advises corporate clients from various industries on a wide range of issues related to financing, insolvency proceedings, competition, energy, real estate and public procurement.
Prior to joining the firm, Silvia was a local partner and co-head of the Bratislava banking and finance practice for an international law firm and associate of a leading international law firm in Prague. Her almost 20-year practice covers not only insolvency but also mergers and acquisitions, greenfield investments, competition law issues, financing and real estate transactions. She has advised clients particularly in banking, energy, construction, telecommunications and real estate sectors and thanks to her multi-sector international experience she is well positioned to lead complex cross-border transactions and advise clients on diverse legal issues.
Silvia is a member of the Slovak Bar Association and also the chairman of the VI Disciplinary Senate of the Slovak Bar Association. In addition, she represents the American Chamber of Commerce at the Legislation Council of the Government.
