Sean focuses on nonprofit representation and has significant experience in complex financings, including the securities, corporate, tax and real estate issues that arise in such transactions.
His experience includes representation of lenders and credit enhancers, nonprofits, and developers, underwriters and trustees. He is an active member of the firm’s nonprofit finance practice, which includes representation in approximately 80 percent of such transactions done in the District of Columbia.
Client Work
Sean has represented borrowers and lenders with regard to the negotiation and drafting of loan agreements, reimbursement agreements, letters of credit, standby commitments, participations, confirmations, and mortgage and security documents. He has also represented numerous financial institutions in the development of loan programs oriented to the nonprofit sector. Sean also has experience representing clients in the areas of real estate, housing, non-profit, and educational, medical, cultural and energy facilities.
