Sean A. Gordon focuses his practice on bankruptcy, commercial loan workouts, creditors’ rights and commercial litigation. He represents lenders, creditors’ committees, trustees, individual creditors, lessors, lessees, debtors and landlords, both inside and outside of bankruptcy.
Experienced in handling commercial real estate valuation matters, Sean frequently represents banking clients in foreclosure-related litigation and contested foreclosure confirmation hearings across the State of Georgia. He also routinely defends banks and national financial services organizations in actions by borrowers asserting mortgage-related claims, including allegations of wrongful foreclosure, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act ("RESPA") violations, Truth In Lending Act ("TILA") violations, slander to title, and state mortgage statute violations.
Sean is experienced in virtually all phases of general commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation through trial and appeal.
