Professional Biography

Sarah Rieger is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP, where she is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.

Prior to joining Foley, Ms. Rieger gained experience in the Intellectual Property Group of a distinguished law firm as a summer associate, where she engaged in legal research of legal issues and case law related to patent, trademark, and copyright litigation and assisted in drafting arguments for motions and briefs.

Education

Ms. Rieger earned her law degree from University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 2017), where she was a production editor of the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review, treasurer of the Asia Law Society, and member of the Intellectual Property Student Association.

Ms. Rieger completed her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences at Marquette University (B.S., cum laude, 2014), where she also majored in history and minored in Asian studies. She was a student advisor and orientation assistant for the university’s honors program and served as a student mentor for the College of Health Sciences Peer Mentorship Program.

Admissions

Ms. Rieger is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
