Sam Winston is an associate on the Corporate Compliance & White Collar Defense team and represents companies and individuals in business crime and corporate compliance matters. His practice focuses on regulatory advices, compliance program design and review, internal investigations, and white collar criminal defense.
Mr. Winston has particular experience helping companies comply with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the UK Bribery Act, Dodd-Frank, whistleblower claims, export regulations, and other international commercial and criminal laws. He has counseled companies in internal investigations arising domestically as well as in Southeast Asia and Latin America. He also has significant experience defending individuals in white collar and pro bono matters at both the state and federal level.
