Samantha is an associate in the Minneapolis office of Ogletree Deakins. She started her employment law career as in-house counsel for a medical supplies company with over 7,500 employees. Following that, she moved to a local law firm to focus on HR and employment advising and counseling for Minnesota employers.
Samantha has experience advising employers of all sizes on a variety of human resources and employment related issues, including discrimination and harassment prevention, employment procedures and policies, hiring and termination practices, leaves of absence, accommodations, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and employment law compliance. Samantha’s goal when collaborating with clients is to create solutions that address both the client’s business objectives and the applicable legal requirements.
Outside of the office, Samantha enjoys traveling, hiking the U.S. National Parks, and spending time with her husband, two cats, and dog.
