Saige Gallop is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Saige is based in the firm’s San Diego office where she is a member of the firm’s Transactions and Corporate Practice, as well as the firm’s Technology Transactions & Outsourcing Practice. She is also the San Diego office liaison for Foley’s Racial Justice and Equity Pro Bono Practice Group (RJEPG).
In 2019, Saige began her career with Foley as a summer associate. As an associate with Foley, she has represented a wide range of investors and venture capitalists in their investment activities, as well as startups and emerging technology companies in equity financings, token purchase deals, venture capital financings, and other general corporate matters. Saige has also aided numerous companies with formation.
While in law school, Saige was a teaching assistant in the Legal Writing Department where she evaluated research exercises, consulted with students about their legal writing, and helped prepared research assignments for the first-year curriculum.
Saige was a legal extern for the Honorable Jill L. Burkhardt in the U.S District Court for the Southern District of California. She wrote “Report and Recommendation” memoranda for Judge on substantive federal law issues, conducted legal research on habeas corpus and section 1983 issues, and attended settlement and early neutral evaluation conferences.
