Ryan defends employers in actions involving employment discrimination and harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, wage and hour, leave law, and breach of contract claims before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitrators. In addition to litigation, Ryan advises and counsels employers on labor and employment law compliance, including drafting employee policies and agreements. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ryan practiced at a national general liability law firm in Tampa, where he represented admitted and non-admitted insurance carriers through all stages of litigation in Florida state courts.
