Professional Biography

Ronald M. Fields is an associate in the Atlanta, Georgia, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters before courts and administrative agencies, as well as providing preventive advice and counseling.

Before joining Jackson Lewis, Ronald served as a law clerk to Judge R. Stan Baker in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. During his two-year term, he worked at both the magistrate and district court levels, where he assisted the Court with discovery disputes, pre-trial motions, and jury trials. Ronald regularly engaged with matters pertaining to a variety of federal employment laws, including the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, and Section 1981.

While attending law school, Ronald served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review, and authored an article on Cuban-American immigration law. He also completed a semester externship as a law clerk to Justice Keith R. Blackwell of the Supreme Court of Georgia, served as a student research assistant, and studied abroad in Brussels, Belgium and Geneva, Switzerland.  

Ronald earned his undergraduate degree with a double major in Philosophy and Communication Studies and a minor in Sociology. As an undergraduate, he was selected as Student of the Year in his major and was presented the Faculty Scholarship Award, which recognizes the highest academic achievement made within a graduating class. He also participated in Mock Trial and completed semester-long externships at two different law firms.
