Roma Lopes is an associate in Intellectual Property Department of Foley & Lardner LLP. Roma is located in the firm’s New York office, where she is a member of the firm’s Trademark, Copyright & Advertising Practice Group.
Prior to joining Foley, Roma worked at a national law firm, where she gained experience protecting, enforcing, and defending trademark, copyright, and related IP rights as well as overseeing global trademark portfolio strategies for clients across a variety of industries such as sports, pharmaceuticals, private equity, entertainment, consumer retail, and food and beverage. Additionally, she provided a full range of key support for complex cases involving trademark and copyright infringement, trademark dilution, and tortious interference claims. She also provided pre-litigation counseling related to right of publicity in connection with a new application launch.
