Richard Bahrenburg is an Associate in the Long Island, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Bahrenburg was an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the New York City Law Department’s Office of the Corporation Counsel. In that role, Mr. Bahrenburg worked in the Special Federal Litigation Division defending the City of New York against a variety of federal and state civil rights claims. Mr. Bahrenburg has substantial experience in various areas of litigation, including federal jury trials.
Mr. Bahrenburg received his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, Mr. Bahrenburg was the Development Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law and was a pro bono scholar. Mr. Bahrenburg received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University.
