Ricardo is the oldest-child of Mexican immigrants, and was raised in Puebla, Mexico until he was seventeen years old. Ricardo is a first-generation college graduate with a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA. Before law school, Ricardo worked at a small firm for three years. At UCLA Law, Ricardo has been involved with La Raza Law Students' Association and the Journal of Islamic & Near Eastern Law. Last year, Ricardo was a Legal Intern at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. Currently, Ricardo works at a boutique firm specializing in employment law.
