Rachel Cheong is an associate in the Real Estate, Energy, Land Use & Environmental Practice Group in the Sheppard Mullin's Los Angeles office.
Areas of Practice
Rachel represents public and private entities in real estate and financing transactions. Rachel analyzes and develops strategic solutions for real estate owners, institutional entities, real estate funds, and other real estate investors, specifically in the healthcare industry, on various transactional matters including loan originations, purchase and sale transactions, and leasing.
Additionally, Rachel serves as bond and disclosure counsel to municipal entities, including airports, utility districts, and cities. Rachel has experience in the public offerings of tax-exempt and federally taxable bonds.
Previously, Rachel was a transactional associate in the Los Angeles office of an AmLaw 100 law firm with a nationally-recognized healthcare and real estate practice.
During law school, Rachel served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Julia W. Brand in the United States Bankruptcy Court.
