Paula Schneider has extensive experience in intellectual property law, having worked in private practice and as a primary patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
In private practice, Paula authored more than 100 patent applications that were issued to patents in transportation (seating, emissions systems, compartment safety latches), aerospace, medical devices, home appliances, sporting equipment and navigation systems.
As a patent examiner, Paula managed a docket of patent applications relating to vehicle controls and navigation systems. She was awarded the Bronze Award in 2020 in recognition of five consecutive years of the highest possible performance review ratings.
Prior to launching her career in law, Paula held several positions in the laboratories of one of the largest automakers in the world and developed a thorough knowledge of vehicle instrumentation and operation. She played a key role in the data reduction and analysis for the evaluation of remote sensing instrumentation and provided assistance during field studies.
