Patrick J. McCurry is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office. He concentrates his practice on the corporate and tax aspects of complex business and investment transactions, with a particular focus on transactions involving energy-related investments, private equity funds, partnerships and joint ventures, limited liability companies and closely-held corporations. He also has extensive experience in tax planning for high net-worth individuals and families, and tax controversy matters.
Patrick received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While in law school, Patrick served as an extern for the Honorable Ronald A. Guzman, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He also was a member of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal and was selected to Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society. He earned his B.A. in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame.
