Paige is a litigator who specializes in consumer class actions, including claims regarding the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA), Unfair Competition Law (UCL), False Advertising Law (FAL), The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65), and other consumer protection regulations and laws. She has experience defending clients in complex product liability cases involving cosmetics, over-the-counter drugs, medical devices, food, retail, and electronics. She has extensive knowledge of California and New York consumer protection statutes, as well as similar statutes in Florida and Colorado. She has experience representing clients at all stages of litigation. She regularly advises clients on product labeling and strategies to navigate the requirements of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act and mitigate challenges under consumer protection laws.
Paige also represents clients in complex business and real estate litigation matters such as commercial lease disputes, residential disputes, and high-use land disputes. Her practice encompasses a wide range of litigation including breaches of contract, trade disputes, M&A litigation and land use matters.
In addition to her practice, she has served as an adjunct professor at UC Law San Francisco (formerly Hastings College of the Law) , where she also serves as an alumni coach for the Moot Court Team.
Prior to joining Mintz, Paige worked as a legal research attorney in the Complex Litigation Department at the Superior Court of California for the Honorable Andrew Y.S. Cheng and the Honorable Teri L. Jackson, who is now the Presiding Justice for the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District. In that role, Paige analyzed briefs, researched and drafted orders, and assisted with ex parte hearings and discovery issues for complex commercial, construction defect, and securities cases, as well as class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions.
While earning her law degree, Paige served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jon S. Tigar of the US District Court for the Northern District of California and the Honorable Mary E. Wiss of the Superior Court of California. She also interned with United Policyholders, a San Francisco-based nonprofit advocacy organization for insurance consumers.
In law school, Paige was a UC Hastings Moot Court Team competitor, coach, and board member and served as a research assistant for a professor who authors and edits casebooks and treatises on insurance law.
As a participant in the Hastings Appellate Project, she prepared opening and reply briefs for an immigration case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
