Mike partners with clients to provide practical, strategic patent counsel. He represents clients of all sizes, including universities, emerging and mid-sized companies and Fortune 500 corporations.

Prior to becoming a patent practitioner, Mike worked for several years in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and in academic research. Before joining the firm, he worked for six years at an intellectual property law boutique in Portland, Oregon. Mike has experience working on a broad range of technologies, but has particular experience with technologies in the chemical and life science arts.
