Mazal Gavrielov is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department and a member of the Immigration & Nationality Practice Group, with more than 10 years of experience in U.S. immigration law.
She currently represents multinational corporate clients in the higher education and financial services, information technology services and communication/multimedia service industries on all aspects of U.S. immigration. She provides counsel on all employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories, family-based permanent resident applications and immigration compliance.
Mazal has had great success in representing organizations in obtaining “extraordinary ability” O-1 and EB-1 classification for various artists and business leaders based on demonstrated international expertise and prominence in their fields. In addition, she also handles complex L1A/B applications and responses to USCIS’s request for evidence requests.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Mazal practiced immigration law for top immigration firms based in New York. She handled a full range of business and family immigration activities. She was responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple corporate accounts, assisting such clients in the procurement of temporary and permanent visas for foreign national employees. She represented individual clients, startup companies, and small to medium-sized organizations in a variety of industries, including finance, law, information technology consulting, software development, multimedia services, education and fashion.
