Matthew Stempler's principal practice involves the representation of commercial banks, investment banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions in a variety of financing transactions, including syndicated finance, commodities finance and sales and purchases of distressed bank debt in the secondary loan trading market.
He received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Richmond and his J.D. from the University of Virginia, where he was an executive editor on the Virginia Tax Review. Matthew is admitted to practice in North Carolina.
