Matt Engel is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department.
During law school Matt served as the Editor in Chief of the Seton Hall Law Review, where he supervised a team of more than fifty editors. During this time, the Law Review published four issues containing over 1,000 pages of original scholarly work including a symposium issue on the future of legal education. He also interned for U.S. Magistrate Judge Madeline Cox Arleo of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and provided research assistance to Professor Mark Alexander. He graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law cum laude.
Prior to law school Matt interned as a policy analyst at the Hague Centre for Strategic Studies in the Netherlands, where he authored a deliverable about terrorism in the European Union. He also served as a labor and employment litigation paralegal for two years at an Am Law 200 firm.
