Marko C. Maglich is a Principal in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Prior to joining the firm, he directed the corporate U.S. immigration practice of a large international law firm.
Mr. Maglich practices immigration law exclusively, and is a member of the firm’s Immigration practice group. Mr. Maglich’s practice deals with all aspects of business-related visas, compliance by employers and individuals with U.S. immigration law (including in M&A transactions and workplace enforcement), and in proceedings before the Departments of State, Homeland Security, and Labor. His practice includes family-based immigration, complex consular issues, and removal and admissibility on criminal and other grounds. He works with specialized tax counsel to advise many private clients on the immigration component of tax and immigration planning. Mr. Maglich also assists in coordinating “outbound” (non-U.S.) immigration work.
Mr. Maglich has been a speaker, author, and teacher on immigration topics for organizations and schools including the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Practising Law Institute (PLI).
