Lindsay Bethea specializes in the defense of claims arising from general liability litigation, insurance coverage litigation, medical malpractice, premises liability, and government, white-collar and fraud investigations. Lindsay is involved in all aspects of litigation, from inception through resolution by settlement, dispositive motion, mediation and/or arbitration, and support of partners at trial.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Lindsay was an associate at a mid-size insurance defense litigation firm in Manhattan, where she focused on medical malpractice, premises liability, construction, complex tort, and general liability claims. Lindsay also has significant experience in the areas of federal investigations and prosecution, statutory fraud violations, financial and white collar crimes, and blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Lindsay has interned with the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Mississippi, and the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the Claims Bureau, where she assisted in defending the State of New York and its employees against tort and medical malpractice claims.
