Lauren A. Parra is an Associate in the New York City, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing management in employment litigation, as well as advising clients on all aspects of the employment relationship.
Ms. Parra counsels clients on a diverse range of matters, including wage and hour compliance, workplace harassment and discrimination disputes, the proper management of reasonable accommodation requests, legal compliance, and best practices in the proper classification of a workforce.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Parra was a law clerk for the Honorable Robert L. Polifroni, Presiding Judge of the Civil Division in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County. She also spent two years representing and counseling employers at a boutique law firm in New York City. During law school, Ms. Parra was a semi-finalist in the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law’s Trial Advocacy Competition. She also served as a Notes and Articles Editor for Fordham’s International Law Journal and was a recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award, Cum Laude.
