Keith focuses his practice on advising financial institutions in complex litigation and regulatory matters involving structured financial products and consumer financial products, with a particular emphasis on matters involving asset-backed securities (ABS). He provides guidance on risk and documentation issues involving financial products and litigates related disputes, including high-stakes cases in state and federal courts in New York and Delaware.
In his practice, Keith regularly counsels corporate trustees, securities administrators, paying agents, servicers, and other parties. He has provided advice on numerous first-of-their-kind issues affecting the ABS industry and is consistently called upon in unique and challenging circumstances. His capabilities and experience span all product types, including securities backed by residential mortgage loans, whole business assets, private student loans, and other assets. His matters typically involve investors, deal parties, and financial regulators, and he has experience advising on cross-border issues. He has handled all phases of litigation from trial through appeal.
In addition to his financial products practice, Keith has an active pro bono practice that has included immigration removal matters involving unaccompanied minors.
