Karolína Anna Kárníková’s practice focuses predominantly on corporate law, M&A and real estate matters.
Prior to joining the firm as a law clerk, Karolína worked in a local law office where she was engaged in general corporate practice. She joined the firm as a third-year student of the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno. During her studies, Karolína focused mainly on international law and corporate law. She took part of a UNCITRAL session in New York during her studies as delegate (2016), and organized an ELSA Moot Court Competition on World Trade Organization Law in Brno (2016). She attended summer school on international investment law at Athens (2017).
Karolína’s corporate experience comprises advising on range of corporate transactions, including M&A transactions and corporate structuring. She has been involved in most of the real estate transaction in the Prague office and works closely with Corporate, as well as the Real Estate team.
On an ongoing basis, Karolína assists clients with corporate and commercial matters, as well as asset management of real estate property. In 2019, Karolína joined an international team of lawyers in the Middle East, where she has been analyzing cross-border financial transactions that are evading economic sanctions and money laundering regulations.
Apart from her law studies, Karolína further broadens her knowledge in finances and accountancy.
