Justin practices energy law with a focus on regulatory matters before the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC). He represents clients across the energy sector, including renewable energy developers, energy storage and EV charging companies, trade associations, and independent power producers.
He regularly advises on regulatory and legislative developments, such as Michigan’s 2023 clean energy legislation and the MPSC’s expanded jurisdiction over large-scale renewable project siting.
Justin also has experience with contested cases and settlement negotiations involving integrated resource plans, green pricing programs, and distributed generation rates. He assists clients with permitting, interconnection, and compliance issues, and he has conducted due diligence for the acquisition and financing of utility-scale solar and wind projects.
