Specializing in Life Science and Technology Private Equity/M&A transactions, Julie-Anne provides strategic counsel to a wide range of domestic and international public and private entities, investors, and corporations. Her expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, financing deals, divestitures, restructurings, joint ventures, and various other types of corporate transactions across industries such as manufacturing, medtech, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and other healthcare, life science, and tech-driven sectors.
As a trusted advisor and external legal counsel, Julie-Anne offers comprehensive corporate counsel to executive teams, investment professionals, and boards of directors. She is also instrumental in Foley & Lardner LLP’s ESG & Impact initiatives, dedicating part of her practice to assisting social enterprise firms, impact investors, and nonprofit organizations in navigating complex corporate frameworks, governance issues, sustainability practices and impact measurement strategies.
Prior to joining Foley, Julie was tax/corporate counsel for Credit Suisse AG in Zurich, Switzerland where she advised clients on complex international technical tax matters and estate planning solutions for high and ultra-high net worth individuals using trusts, foundations, and other wealth planning structures. Julie started her legal career a tax associate for KPMG LLP where she provided clients with tax consulting services in the areas of R&D, medical devices, and energy sustainability.
Originally from Lyon, France, Julie-Anne is bilingual in French and English, enhancing her ability to serve clients across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
