I’m an Illinois lawyer with a nationwide practice who represents members of our society who have been seriously injured or killed due to the irresponsible acts of an individual or company. The injured have the same rights as everyone else — to be treated with compassion and respect— but their vulnerability means they need special protection and representation against those who injure, neglect or abuse them. This is my life’s work.
I recognize that an injured person has one opportunity to get the compensation that the law allows. I am fully dedicated and mindful of this responsibility and do everything in my power to ensure that this opportunity is maximized in order to provide for past hardship and future needs.
I am a zealous and powerful advocate for vulnerable clients and their families in their time of need. But I’m also a trustworthy counselor who will listen to and empathize with my clients and their loved ones. I am a proud father and a devoted grandchild, and I draw upon my own life experiences when helping families whose worlds have been turned upside down by abuse, a severe injury, or death.
I’m proud to say that I’ve made a difference in how society treats our most vulnerable members. In addition to recovering millions of dollars on behalf of my clients, my successful representation of nursing home victims has forced nursing homes to make changes to their resident care policies and to fire unfit employees. Many elder groups have engaged me to speak about my work and my accomplishments in this area.
When I became a personal injury lawyer, I made a vow to myself and to every one of my future clients: I would always remember that every client and every case is unique and deserves to be handled with respect and attention to detail. If I cannot personally assist in a matter, I use that same dedication to secure the most qualified attorneys called for by the circumstances.
